Your first appointment at Higher Standards Dental Studio is designed to give Dr. Vibhakar a complete picture of your oral health — not just a quick look and a cleaning. We start with a detailed health history review, a comprehensive exam of your teeth, gums, bite, and soft tissue, and digital X-rays as needed. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while, we approach the visit without judgment. Our goal is to understand where things stand today and what we can do to move you in a better direction.
We use intraoral cameras during your exam to show you exactly what we’re seeing — so you’re never left wondering what something means or why it matters. Before leaving, you’ll have a clear understanding of your oral health, any recommendations Dr. Vibhakar has, and what treatment would involve if anything is needed. You decide what comes next.
We accept most major PPO insurance plans, including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, Humana, United Healthcare, and MetLife. Our team will verify your benefits before your appointment and walk you through what your plan covers so you know what to expect before any treatment is scheduled. We do not accept Medicaid.
For patients without insurance or with out-of-pocket balances, we offer third-party financing through CareCredit and Cherry, which allow you to break treatment costs into manageable monthly payments. We’re also developing an in-house membership plan for patients who want a straightforward, no-insurance-required path to regular care. Higher Standards Dental Studio is designed to feel different from the start. The waiting room is calm and unhurried. The team takes time with you. Dr. Vibhakar explains findings in plain language and never recommends treatment you don’t need. We offer comfort amenities like blankets, headphones, lip balm, and stress balls, and nitrous oxide is available for patients who experience anxiety. We also see Spanish-speaking patients and have team members who can assist in Spanish. If you’ve avoided the dentist because of past experiences, cost concerns, or anxiety, we want to be the practice that changes that for you.
