Restorative

These cases cover the full range of restorative work — from fractured bridges and failing composites to precision ceramic inlays and anterior reconstruction. What you’ll see below is real clinical work: the before condition, the restoration, and the result.

The before shows a fractured bridge that left the patient with exposed stumps and a significantly compromised upper arch. The after is a full-arch porcelain-fused-to-zirconia restoration — the material combination delivers the translucency you want up front and the structural integrity the case demanded.

The first image shows the tooth secured under rubber dam with a clamp — full isolation before bonding. The onlay is ceramic, seated into the cusp walls to restore the tooth conservatively without a full crown. The after shows a clean, natural-looking result alongside the adjacent tooth.

The before makes the challenge obvious: the existing crown on #8 stood out dramatically against the surrounding natural teeth. We fabricated a new crown for #9 and placed veneers on #7 and #10 to build a cohesive anterior zone around what was already there. The after shows how invisible the blend became.

The first photo shows retraction cord at the gingival margin of the prepared tooth — the cord creates a clean separation from the tissue so the margins seat accurately. The second shows the completed ceramic inlay: natural occlusal anatomy, clean fit, no excess material.

The before photo tells the story — a young patient with severely broken down anterior teeth, prior root canals, and very little remaining crown structure. We placed post-and-core buildups to create foundations, then delivered full-coverage crowns and bridgework. The after is a complete functional and aesthetic rehabilitation.

The before shows the characteristic taper: upper incisors that narrow sharply toward the incisal edge, which the patient described as “pear shaped.” She declined orthodontics. Direct composite was used to build out the incisal profile and give the teeth a more proportional, squared contour — same appointment, no appliances.

The before shows active cervical decay across multiple upper anterior teeth — dark brown lesions running along the gumline on nearly every tooth. Retraction cord was packed to pull the tissue back and give clean access to the margins before placing composite. The after shows the restorations blended in, decay eliminated.

The before shows oversized anterior composite buildups that had grown disproportionate over time, paired with a lower partial denture that no longer fit well. The existing buildups were removed, proper-length porcelain crowns were delivered, and the partial was retrofitted to match the corrected vertical.

The before photo shows chipped edges, discoloration, and uneven anterior teeth that affected the patient’s overall smile. Six porcelain veneers were placed to restore tooth shape, improve color, and create a brighter, more balanced smile while maintaining a natural appearance.

The before photo shows an older silver amalgam restoration with breakdown around the tooth structure. A porcelain onlay and composite bonding were used to replace the old restoration, rebuild the tooth, and create a natural-looking result that blends with the surrounding teeth.
