Dr. Rickin Vibhakar, known to patients as Dr. V, practiced dentistry in New York City for more than a decade, including private practice at 60th and Park in Manhattan, before opening Higher Standards Dental Studio on Decatur Square. He lives in Decatur with his wife and two young boys.
Dr. V is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and an active member of the Kois Center, and he has completed more than 500 hours of continuing education toward Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He looks for the reason behind each problem, such as why cavities keep forming or why you wake up tired, and explains it clearly before recommending treatment.
